​Colin Teo

Adj Asst Professor Colin Teo is the Founding Head of the Department of Urology in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Alexandra Health Service, and the reelected President of the Society for Men's Health of Singapore. He was a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Medical Scholar who graduated from National University of Singapore and was commissioned with the Sword-of-Honour award. 

Dr. Teo is currently an Army Lieutenant-Colonel and is still active in humanitarian missions. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh & a Master of Medicine in Surgery. He attained his Fellowship of Academy of Medicine, Singapore upon completing his training in Singapore General Hospital and attained his Fellowship in the European Board of Urology examined in Prague and Athens. 

After completing his Fellowship in Endourology and Andrology in St James’s Hospital in the United Kingdom, Dr. Teo did his senior HMDP in Keck Institute of Urology, University of Southern California (USC) in Advanced Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is a seating Urology Residency Advisory Committee Member; Appointed NUS Yong Loo Lin's School of Medicine Adjunct Asst Professor and MBBS examiner; and is a regularly invited speaker in international & regional forums, TV and Radio interviews. He was the organizing chairman of the Singapore Urological Association (SUA) Urofair Congress 2015 and the organizing secretary for the Urological Association of Asia (UAA) Congress 2016. He is a reviewer for the Asian Journal of Andrology and in involved in his society’s clinical men’s health guidelines development and the UAA BPH consensus.
